Once upon a time, there were two Rutgers students that recently discovered the wonders of dating apps.

It didn't take long for both to swipe right on each other! Tom thought Dana's selfies were cute, and Dana had a nice laugh at Tom's Spongebob-themed pickup line (because the only useful information she thought to include in her Tinder bio was a Patrick Star quote. Literally, that was it).

On October 4th, 2015, they agreed to meet for a first date at the local sushi joint on campus, and almost immediately knew they wanted to see each other again as soon as possible (the Barefoot Moscato wine also helped — listen, college is a rough time for everyone).

Fast-forward 8 years, three apartments, an adopted street cat, and a loud Welsh corgi named after a Quentin Tarantino character, and now they're getting married in Italy on the same exact day they first locked eyes. Thankfully, this time, Barefoot Moscato will not be served.
