Tenuta Del Palagio - Right next to the venue, this winery has been producing wines for over 200 years. Castello Vicchiomaggio - About 10 minutes away , Vicchiomaggio is a beautiful and well-preserved castle in the heart of Chianti. Both a hotel and a wine estate, wine tours (by appointment) can include anything from a small wine tasting with bread, to a full cellar tour and four-course meal.

Impruneta (15 minute drive) - Known for its fine production of world-famous terracotta, the most important feature of Impruneta is the Sanctuary of Santa Maria, an important site of pilgrimage during the Middle Ages.
San Casciano in Val di Pesa (15 minute drive) - a small local town that offers a nice range of restaurants (like Cantinetta del Nonno), gelaterie, and boutique shops, San Casciano is also close by a villa once owned by Niccolo Machiavelli (which now holds a restaurant) as well as the Museum of Sacred Art.
Greve in Chianti (15 minute drive) - A commune within the Chianti wine district, a Franciscan monastery is still at the heart of the old part of Greve, as is the triangular main piazza, where a market has been running more or less continuously for centuries, serving the nearby castle communities and hamlets.
Panzano (20 minute drive) - not far from Greve, Panzano is a small hamlet most famous for its views of the Chianti hills and vineyards, and its high concentration of delicious restaurants. In particular, it is home to Dario Cecchini, one of the most renowned Italian butchers who was featured on Chef's Table. His restaurants, butcher shop, and panini truck can all be visited in Panzano.
San Gimignano (40 minute drive)- a preserved, walled Gothic hill town with hidden alleys, medieval stone towers, and a museum and church with fine painting and sculptures. A UNESCO site, San Gimignano is often considered one of the prettiest Tuscan towns.
Siena (45 minute drive) - The historic center of Siena, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, features medieval landmarks like the Duomo di Siena and Piazza del Campo (which is the site of the world's most famous horserace, Il Palio).
Volterra (1 hour) - A walled mountaintop town, originally one of the main city-states of Ancient Etruria, Volterra features one of the best preserved Roman theaters in Italy.
Lucca (1 hour & 15 minute drive) - a city on the Serchio river, known for the well-preserved Renaissance walls encircling its historic city center and its cobblestone streets.
Pisa (1 hour & 15 minute drive) - a Tuscan city best known for its iconic Leaning Tower.
Livorno (1 hour & 20 minute drive) - A port city on the Ligurian Sea, often considered the most modern among all the Tuscan cities. Though not as popular as other Tuscan towns for tourists, it's well-known for its delicious, fresh seafood, Renaissance-era fortifications, and the Terrazza Mascagni promenade.
Montepulciano (1.5 hour drive) - Surrounded by vineyards, Montepulciano is a beautiful hilltop town known for its delicious wine, family-owned restaurants, Renaissance churches, and the Piazza Grande.
