Although we first met at St. Norbert College in 2011 when Nolan was a senior and Dani was a sophomore, our real story together didn't begin until spring of 2017 when Dani joined the Milwaukee Hurling Club and Nolan was getting ready for his third season with the club. After we reconnected, we went on our first date on June 6, 2017.

on September 6, 2017, Dani gave Nolan a 90 day review with an offer letter for a title change to "official boyfriend."

He laughed, but he signed it.

Over the next few years, we would get to know each other's family, move in together, and settle into building a life together.

On August 30, 2022, Mochi came into our home. We worked with Canine Cupids rescue organization to pull a sweet American Akita out of the shelter where he was showing signs of stress and that he wouldn't be able to handle the shelter much longer. He made our family of two into a family of three in the very best way.

Nolan proposed on July 1, 2023. We'd talked about getting engaged within the first half of the year, and on June 29, he leaned over in true tax accountant fashion and asked for a two-day extension to perfect his plans.

When we decided to go on a spur-of-the-moment date the night of the first before Dani was scheduled to fly out of town for a week, all the perfect plans fell away, and instead, Nolan asked while we were sitting in front of a fountain near the lake. Dani said yes, and then pulled out the ring she'd been carrying in her purse for the last few months to give him in return.

Now, we're planning our wedding and we're so excited for you to share this exciting time with us! We are grateful to everyone who has been with us over the last several years as we began to build a life and a partnership, and we are eager to see where the future takes us with you by our side.
