The Ceremony and Reception will be held at Heavenly Mountain Resort’s Lakeview Lodge in South Lake Tahoe, California at 8,200 feet above sea level.

The Ceremony will commence promptly at 5 PM.

We ask that our guests be seated by this time.

Due to the elevation of the venue, temperatures can decrease dramatically after sunset, plan accordingly.

Complimentary parking will be available at the Heavenly Mountain Resort California Lodge parking lot, where guests will be taking the Aerial Tram up to Lakeview Lodge.

Complimentary overnight parking is permitted in the California Lodge parking lot.

Guests may leave their vehicle at the California Lodge parking lot overnight and return for it the following morning.

Heavenly Mountain Resort has 24 hour onsite security.

Guests may begin uploading the Aerial Tram no earlier than 4:15 PM and no later than 4:40 PM.

The Aerial Tram is a mile long 7 minute ride to the top.

There will be a short walk on a dirt path or guests may take a short ride in a provided shuttle bus to Lakeview Lodge.

Pre-Ceremony water service will be available.

The Aerial Tram is a sturdy and fully enclosed gondola.

Women in heels will be able to comfortably stand while the Aerial Tram is in transit.

Aerial Tram operators and security will be present on site.

The venue is ADA accessible.

We will have an unplugged Ceremony.

We kindly ask that our guests silence and put away their phones for the duration of our Ceremony.

A professional photographer will be capturing this special moment and we will be sharing our gallery with everyone!

There will be opportunities for guests to capture any media they would like after the Ceremony.

Children will be present during our wedding.

We kindly ask that guests with children to ensure there are no disruptions during the duration of our Ceremony.

High chairs and booster seats will be available.

Please keep an eye out on your little ones— you are on a mountain!

Phone service and complimentary WiFi are available at Lakeview Lodge.

Connectivity may be inconsistent.

Lakeview Lodge is 8,200 feet above sea level, which is considered high altitude.

While most individuals will be fine at this elevation— please monitor yourself for any symptoms that may arise such as headaches, fatigue, and lightheadedness.

To help prevent this, stay hydrated before and during our wedding.

If you are concerned about Altitude Sickness, please discuss with your physician ahead of time.

Professional certified medical personnel will be present on site for any medical emergencies.

Summer weather in the Sierra Nevada mountains can change rapidly.

If lightning or severe weather is detected within 15 miles of the resort, guests must remain indoors for at least 30 minutes.

If no additional lightning strikes occur during that time, guests may safely return outside.

Smoking is only permitted in the designated smoking area of Lakeview Lodge.

If weather conditions indicate a red flag warning or high fire danger in the area, smoking will not be permitted anywhere on Heavenly Resort’s mountain.

Heavenly Mountain Resort DOES NOT permit outside food and beverages at Lakeview Lodge or in the Aerial Tram.

Any lost items will be collected and will be available for pick up the following morning at the California Lodge Security Office.
