We are so excited to host our wonderful friends and family in the place we have chosen to call home. Though La Grande is off the beaten path, we hope you will be able to join us there in celebration.
We encourage groups to travel together and coordinate with car rentals as you are able. We will have parties flying into Pasco, Boise, and PDX and would be happy to support you with coordination if given enough notice. Please reach out to Laurel, Daniel, or the family for assistance if you are finding it challenging and we will do our best to help.
Lastly, please keep in mind this is a holiday weekend. We strongly recommend reserving your travel and lodging at least three months in advance to ensure availability!
Closest Airports:
PSC - The Tri-Cities airport is 2 hours west of La Grande.
BOI - The Boise airport is 2.5 hours east of La Grande.
PDX - The Portland airport is 5 hours west of La Grande.
Boutique Air - From PDX, you can take a one-hour hopper flight on an 8-seater passenger plane into Pendleton. Pendleton is one hour west of La Grande.

This is the newest hotel in La Grande (they just began taking reservations starting in March!) and our top recommendation if you are going the hotel route.
Best Western
The Lodge at Hot Lake Springs
This hotel is amazing, a true eastern Oregon gem. It sits atop a naturally hot lake and features multiple natural outdoor hot tubs you can soak in all day. We go here all the time! They also have a restaurant and bar downstairs.
There are only 15 rooms, so book well in advance if this is where you plan to stay.
15 minutes from La Grande, 35 minutes from the venue.
Grande Hot Springs RV Resort
If you have an RV, would like to camp, or are interested in staying in a beautiful yurt or tiny home, the Grande RV park just outside of town is a great option. It's located right next to the Lodge at Hot Lake and also includes soaking access. Book through the website linked above.
Airbnb
If you choose to go the Airbnb route you will be warmly welcomed by our local community - these three cities are where you should look:
1. La Grande - the main city in the area, 20 minutes from the venue. Lots of restaurants and amenities.
2. Cove - a picturesque, tiny town 30 minutes away from the venue and 20 minutes away from La Grande. Amazing Airbnbs but you'll need to drive into La Grande for restaurants and amenities.
3. Summerville - a small rural town with a few restaurants. This is the location of the wedding venue, so you will be very close to the wedding, but about 20 minutes from La Grande.
4. Union - this is where we live! A couple restaurants and a 15 minute drive from La Grande.
