Daniel grew up on the West Coast and Thuy-Linh on the East. Despite the distance, there were multiple moments times in their lives where they might have crossed paths, but they did not actually get to meet until their medical school orientation week in 2021 at the local farmers market. Daniel became interested in Thuy-Linh at first sight, but Thuy-Linh did not know about this until later on. At first, they didn't get along very well. But once that all resolved, they quickly became close friends due to their shared interests and grew in their friendship in the following weeks. Around Thanksgiving time, Thuy-Linh found out from friends that Daniel had feelings for her and she began to see him as more than a friend as well. They began to talk and get to know each other more and started dating in March 2022. Since then, they have enjoyed doing life with each other the past three years and can't wait for this next chapter in their lives!
