Everyone knows that Dani and Colin have been together for what feels like forever — and that’s because they kind of have! Their story began way back in early elementary school, when they first met during church CCD classes. Colin still claims he had a crush on Dani even then.

It wasn’t until middle school, though, that they really got to know each other. Through mutual friends and a shared love of sports, they quickly became close. On October 11, 2013, in the 8th grade, they officially became a couple.

Throughout high school, Dani and Colin were inseparable. They were both deeply involved in athletics and other school activities, which meant their schedules were always full - but they still managed to make time for all of the fun stuff together. They shared countless memories and exciting milestones during those years: from attending every school dance together, to competing and supporting each other through state appearances in their sports. And while much of their free time was spent teasing one another, they were always each other's biggest fans.

When it came time for college, they made the tough decision to attend different schools. But instead of growing apart, they embraced the challenge and loved getting to mesh their two new worlds together. They celebrated each other's wins, leaned on one another during the hard moments, and never let the distance dull their connection. Those years apart didn’t just test their relationship—they strengthened it in every way.

After college, they returned home to Mt. Pleasant and began building a life together — both stepping into careers in teaching and coaching while also renovating their first home. Most importantly, they became dog parents to Mazey. Though she might be a little wild (okay, a lot wild), she's deeply loved by everyone who meets her. Despite all the craziness and new opportunities over the last few years, they have continued to support each other through every chapter of their journey.

Over the past 11 years, they’ve grown up side by side, shared countless adventures, and experienced so many firsts — always with each other by their side. Now, they’re thrilled to take their next big step: getting married!
