We decided to go on a date together when our mutual friend (thanks, Gabe!) told both of us it would be a good idea. For our first date, we met at Witch Doctor Brewery to play a game of bar trivia. We hadn't decided on a team name in advance, and neither one of us knew a good name to put on our trivia slip so, "This is Kinda Our First Date" was born. The drinks were good but the speakers were not, so none of the questions were heard that day. Instead of focusing on the game, we just talked and laughed through all the questions. We ended the night in last place. Once trivia ended, we decided to move to another place down the road, unknowingly walking into karaoke night. We both will never forget when a man well into his eighties stepped up to the mic. We thought that maybe it would be a nice slow song or something sweet. David from Southington quickly broke into a rousing rendition of "Bodies" by Drowning Pool. When we both couldn't stop laughing, we took it as a good sign. We haven't stopped laughing since.
