Easton Town Center is a large outdoor shopping center with so many awesome restaurants as well as places to shop! Also just a really pretty atmosphere to walk around outside.

The Short North is one of the more popular parts of the city to spend time in and take visitors to. It is close to THE Ohio State campus and is filled with awesome local shops, bars, delicious restaurants and coffee shops. Some of our favorite places in the Short North are Jeni's ice cream (which is also at Easton), Northstar cafe, Bakersfield, and Seventh Son Brewery.

North Market is one of our favorites in Cbus and a must visit if there is time. It is a large warehouse building filled with 20+ different local stands filled with the most delicious types of food. Our favorites include Hot Chicken Takeover, Destination Donuts, Jeni's Ice cream and Lan Viet. This is also walking distance from the Short North.

If you are looking for something quick and delicious, our FAVORITE place as people closest to us may know is Raising Canes. For our Alabama friends this is a better version of Guthrie's. There's many all over Columbus, give it a try and your life will be changed.

The Scioto River runs right through downtown and has a beautiful walking path all along the river through downtown as well as several parks along the path. It is our favorite way to spend time outside and get a great view of the city. It is also walking distance from the Arena district which is where I (Danielle) work. If you are in town for a few nights I highly suggest Milestone 229 for a good meal and awesome view of the city.
