Danielle and Casey’s adventure began at Loma Linda University Medical Center, where Danielle was an intern in her Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Casey was in his surgical residency. Their paths first crossed while working together on a mutual patient, John Doe—one who lost his leg in a motorcycle accident. Casey was part of the surgical team, while Danielle was the first to help John stand post-accident.Amidst the hustle and bustle of the hospital, they discovered a shared commitment to making a difference in their patients lives. It was in those meaningful moments of collaboration that a deep connection blossomed—one filled with laughter and an undeniable passion for their work (and each other).
