Danielle’s best friend (even after Danielle pushed her off the monkey bars in grade school) since middle school. From childhood summers full of Baldur's Gate, scrambled eggs on toast, and Mt. Dew to Saturday hangs with Logan watching MGK music videos this friendship has stood the test of time (except freshman year of college, she wrote Danielle a beautiful friendship break-up letter, but we reconciled before too long). She truly is Danielle's best friend and she'll be hard to miss on the big day as her belly will be just as big with baby number two coming soon. Can't wait!

Ben's Day-1, A-1. Ben moved (unwillingly) to Fond du Lac in 2004 just doors down from the Krupps. It's fair to say, they've been best buds ever since. From night games and bike races, to sleepovers and adventures to Witch Road and Red Granite, Ben and Cody always knew how to have a good time and how to get into trouble. They also share many fond memories after high school too. Cody visited Ben in New York City during Ben's freshman year at NYU, taking full advantage of all the city could offer, seeing Wicked on Broadway and a Packers-Giants game at Metlife. No matter the distance or time apart, Ben and Cody always pick up right where they began back on Aurora Lane in 2004.

Danielle’s best (well let’s be honest, only) friend from undergraduate school and mother of flower girl Adelynn. She was a reminder home while being all the way in Minneapolis at the U of M as she too was from Wisconsin and we bonded freshman year in Pioneer Hall being some introverted, Wisco girls in the Twin Cities. Don't let that fool you though, we still got out back in those days and boy did we have some nights we'll never forget but I think it's safe to say that our best memories are still yet to come.

Ben and Rodrigo go all the way back to middle school travel basketball. This blossomed into a lifelong friendship shaped by poker nights, a brief stint at UW-Madison together, and trips with the boys. Rod also became Ben's go-to tour guide when his parents moved to Texas. It's been a while since they've lived in the same place, however, Ben and Rod always make up for lost time. They've enjoyed two Vegas trips, a visit to New York City (Rod's new home), and a celebration of love and unity in Cabo for Rodrigo and Kristen's wedding.

Danielle’s coworker (twice over now) turned newest close friend. There's no doubt about it that Kassi was the aggressor in this friendship but we wouldn't expect anything else. She's the perfect Costco trip mate and someone you can call on at any time because chances are she's still up. She's been a great addition for hangs with Danielle's lifelong friends and she's also brought Danielle into the fold with some of her closest friends too.

Ben and Nick also first met playing on that same middle school basketball team. Reconnecting during sophomore year lunch, Nick welcomed Ben to a lunch table that would forever shape their friendship (and friends). School lunch turned to $5 poker tourneys in Rod's basement, late night Nick trolls at Applebees, trips to UT (HOOKEM), and a road-trip to Texas that ended with Nick becoming an honorary Giles household member for a few weeks. Rumor has it Ben lived with Nick in Arizona for a few months in the summer of 2022. Also, ask Nick about his poker diary in high school.

Danielle’s friend (also since middle school) whose friendship continues all the way from Chicago. Time sure flies when you're having fun and there's really no shortage of good times with this one. Some of Danielle's best memories are with her going tubing, visiting her family, the cottage on Green Lake, our trip to the Great Smoky Mountains with Martha, all the foodie places of Chicago, and the list could go on and on. She's a real friend who will always speak her mind and have your best wishes at heart. We can't wait to have here back up here on our big day!

Ben's British Friend, Samuel James Dean. He's British. Sam arrived from across the pond freshman year of high school. Ben met Sam at the lunch (poker and lunch are interchangeable here) table. Ben always made sure everyone knew that Sam was British. The next 14 years were shaped by poker IOU's (IYKYK), beer, whiskey, pretending to also be British like Samuel James, and trips to Sam's current home, Kansas City (or New England). One more thing; Sam is British.

Danielle’s friend since middle school (*in the voice of DJ you-know-who: ANOTHER ONE!). She's one of those friends who have always been there, even when you haven't always been that close, that you know you can always reach out to if you need a friend. One of Danielle's favorite memories from childhood is cruising around Barlow Park (on the top of her Malibu). We reconnected not long before her wedding and ever since she's been a regular in Danielle's life along with the rest of the lifelong friends.

Ben's friend since middle school. All he does is win. Becoming friends was a No Brainer because Ben and Zup ate lunch together everyday and played poker every weekend. He has Wild Thoughts because he's always hiking. Every Chance I Get I like to remind him that I'm The One who lived with him in Arizona. It is No Secret, Austin lived with Nick in Arizona for a few months in the summer of 2022.

Danielle’s friend since (yep, you guessed it) middle school after we realized we could share friends instead of fight over them. It's wild to think that we lived a block away from each other but never really became more than a friend of friend to each other until adulthood. Better late than never though! She's always great for a good laugh and it's been so cool to see her go from the best big sister to the best mom. She's a keeper for sure.

Ben and Hector ate lunch at the same place, same time every Monday through Friday, from 2010-2012. They also played poker every weekend in the De la Torre basement during that time period. Pretty soon, Hector was off, serving the U.S. as a seaman. Their friendship really started to blossom when Hector would come back and visit. Partying at UW-Madison, visiting friends, playing poker, and road-tripping were all memorable moments, but the trips always ended the same, with "In the Navy" by the Village People blaring at top volume at the Airport drop-off. After his service, Hector did Ben a solid by attending UW-Madison for his undergraduate and MBA degrees. The Longhorns no longer overpowered the Badgers in their friend group as Hector evened the playing field to 2v2.

Ben and Nate have many a memory together, dating all the way back to middle school! Choir, school plays, sports, poker games, and youth group just scratch the surface on the many aspects of their friendship! Surprising Nate at his West Point graduation weekend in New York tops the list as one of Ben's favorite memories together.

Ben and Alex met in 2005 when they both donned a Junior Football League Hawks jersey. Alex was the hardest hitter on the team playing linebacker. Ben played center. Years passed as Alex and Ben went to different middle schools and never saw much of each other. Reunited by poker and mutual friends, Ben and Alex spent countless hours playing poker and golf. Alex also appeared in Ben's Mr. Fond du Lac skit senior year of high school.

Ben and Jesse met sometime in 2010 either at a cafeteria table or in a really nice basement. J's lust for life and unrelenting spirit always provided fun times accompanied by beer, Qdoba, and questions like "where's J"? 9 out of 10 times he'd be at Ben's door, in Madison, asleep from the long, secretive journey sneaking away from all his friends at the bar to get Qdoba and head back to Ben's place to pass out. 9 out of 10 times Ben got left over Qdoba as well.
