The couple met in 2018 at Ryan's Wake through mutual friends. They clicked right away from the first time they met and have been together ever since.

The couple got engaged on October 21, 2022 on a group trip to Las Vegas at Lake Mead. Danielle was convinced that Alex was warning her that she was about to encounter a scorpion or a snake until she turned around to see him down on one knee.

The couple purchased their first home in 2023 and currently share the home with their two cats, Masha and Prudence. They plan on honeymooning to England and Ireland in the following year.
