Spend a fall afternoon picking apples or enjoying a locally brewed cider. This fall hot spot is fun to visit but can get busy on the weekend so plan accordingly!

Fun place to go in the evening to try and win some money! There are a couple restaurants in the casino but just outside are a couple of great options: Shaker and Vine (cute wine bar with wine vending machines and a cozy patio) and Druthers (great locally brewed beers and a delicious menu, definitely recommend the mac and cheese!)
Spend Saturday morning taking a stroll and shopping local vendors! From 9-2, the streets around Monument Square downtown are blocked off and opened to various venders from around the area. Definitely recommend Buddhapesto (delicious pesto and they offer samples), Battenkill Valley Creamery (best chocolate milk hands down), Collar City Cold Press (fresh pressed juices and smoothies), The Placid Baker (if you hit their stand around 12, they have fresh pizza!) and La Capital Tacos (fresh, made to order, authentic tacos). Theres live music, lots of dogs and is always a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
This is a great spot to take in breathtaking views and do some hiking! If hiking isn't your thing, there are parking areas that offer great views and is great spot for a picnic.
