Are kids allowed at the ceremony or reception?
While we adore children, both the ceremony and reception are for adults only. We appreciate your understanding.
What is the attire for the wedding?
We would love for our guests to come dressed up in Formal attire for our wedding. Formal attire allows one to get dressed up (which is super fun) but it is also a very flexible type of attire as we want all of our guests to be comfortable. For women, formal attire dress options can be floor length, tea length, midi or high-low styles. Dressy jumpsuits or the combination of a blouse and tea length-floor length skirts are perfectly acceptable as well. For men, formal attire will include your own color choice of a blazer jacket, long sleeve button down, tie and dress pants. A matching suit and tie set is a great option as well. Dress shoes fit the bill when it comes to footwear for both women and men.
Will there be parking?
Both the ceremony at St. Michael's, and the reception at The Matthew's House has plenty of parking for all our guests.
Can I bring a plus one?
Due to space limitations, only named guests on the invitation are invited. We appreciate your understanding.
Where is the ceremony?
The ceremony will be at St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic church located at 804 High House Rd, Cary, NC, 27513. The ceremony will begin promptly at 1pm on September 28, 2024.
Where is the reception?
The reception will be held at The Matthew's House located at 317 W Chattam St. Cary NC 27511. The reception will begin at 5:00pm and will end at 9:30pm.
What will happen if there is rain?
While our reception venue has a beautiful exterior we do hope to enjoy, there is plenty of indoor space for all our guests to enjoy the party. Our ceremony will be indoors.
Will food be served?
Absolutely! We have hired Southern Harvest Catering to serve our guests marinated and grilled chicken breasts, seasoned grilled flank steak, summer salad, roasted herb potatoes, grilled seasoned vegetables and yeast rolls. We will also have plenty of appetizers to keep you happy before dinner.
Will drinks be served?
Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks will be provided. In house beer and wine, sweet tea, water, and lemonade are all provided at our reception complimentary. Please do not bring in any alcohol from outside our reception venue.
Are we allowed to take photos at the ceremony or reception?
We understand you want to be able to remember this beautiful day just as much as we do. That is why we hired both a professional photographer and videographer to capture the moments. Please do not use your phone during our ceremony and limit your phone usage at our reception. We will be more than happy to share our professional photos and videos with you after the day.
I am traveling from out of town, where are some good places to stay?
Thank you for taking the time to travel to celebrate our special day! We highly recommend the beautiful boutique hotel The Mayton Inn, located in Downtown Cary. The Mayton is only minutes away from both the church and reception venue. We have blocked off rooms at the Mayton Inn to help accommodate our out of town guest. Please check out our "Travel" section to learn more about booking one of the blocked off rooms for the wedding weekend at the Mayton Inn. Other places close by are Best Western Plus Cary Inn - NC State, SpringHill Suites Raleigh Cary, and Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Raleigh Cary. There is also a strong Air B&B presence in the Downtown Cary area.
What time should I arrive?
Our ceremony at St. Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church will begin promptly at 1pm. Please plan on arriving 20-30 minutes early and make your way to the seats 5 minutes before 1pm (12:55pm). There will be reserved seating marked for the bridal party and family members.
Do you have a gift registry?
Yes! If you go to the "Registry" tab of this website you will find our link to our registry. While we do appreciate any gift you may bring, your presence is all we expect.
Who can I contact with any additional questions?
We hope that our website will be able to answer all your questions. If not, both Danielle and Joseph are happy to answer any questions you may have up until the day of the wedding. If you still have questions the day of the wedding, please contact a close family member of Danielle and Joseph (mom, dad, brothers).
What are some things to do during the gap?
We do understand a gap may be unusual for most our guests. That is why we have created a full list on the tab "Things to Do" that will keep all guests of all ages entertained.
