Jessica has been in Danielle’s life forever, life’s built in best friend - the older sister. Growing up in her foot steps, Danielle has always looked up to Jessica as a role model. They continue to support and push each other, even hours apart in Colorado. You’ll know you’ve meet Jessica by her radiating positivity and kind, welcoming personality. If you can’t find Danielle or Jessica, you can probably hear them laughing together.

Danielle has known Faith for nearly 7 years but it’s hard to remember a time without their friendship. Faith took Danielle under her wing and showed her everything she could to help Danielle grow into herself, and has supported her through life’s toughest situations. Faith is loyal and kind, while also being enthusiastic and energetic, lighting up a room anytime she walks in.

Carolyn and Danielle have also known each other almost 7 years. Since then, they have become each other’s person who will always say yes to a new adventure. They have many of the same hobbies - mountain biking, plants, and reading - so they always have something to do. Carolyn is a steady friend who will listen to everything you have to say, and also tell you when you’re wrong… everybody need someone like Carolyn!

The friendship between Rachel and Danielle started shortly after Matthew and Danielle started dating, with Rachel welcoming her into the group with open arms. Since then, Rachel has been there to help Danielle learn to raft - and to watch her crash into rocks, oops! Rachel is a charismatic person who puts her friends and family first. You will definitely see her on the dance floor!

Lucy and Danielle met in high school, but became close friends in the first couple years of college. Once they connected, they realized how much they had in common and found any way to see each other - same job, same EMT class, same career path. Even after moving apart, the two always know they can count on the other. Lucy is a smart, kind, and understanding person who knows the importance of life long friends.

Tarik and Matthew met when Tarik helped teach Matthew’s guide school at Mountain Waters Rafting 12 years ago. Tarik took Matthew under his wing and showed him the lines through big scary rapids and has always pushed Matthew to be a better boater and a better person. The two have lived in a broken down school bus together, ran countless rivers together, rode dirt bikes together and for the past 5 years lived about 100 yards apart from one another. Tarik is the charismatic life of the party and you will know him by the sound of a tooting whiskey bottle on our special day.

Ryan is Matthew’s older brother. Matthew followed Ryan to Durango 12 years ago and fell in love with the town. Ryan spent years guiding the San Juan Mountains as a backpacking, rock climbing and backcountry skiing guide. He now works remotely in marketing and spends his free time with his fiancé Caroline, their dog Billy exploring and playing in the Mountains. You’ll know Ryan by his infectious smile, big laugh and friendly demeanor.

Ben and Matthew worked at Upper Pine Fire Rescue together. They spent a long time working together at the infamous station 4. Where they were the only two fire fighters at the station, and backup was at least 15 minutes away. They responded to countless emergencies together and became fast friends along the way. You’ll know Ben by his big smile, baby face and clean cut appearance amongst all the hippies.

Marcus and Matthew met when they sat next to one another at the NAU School of Forestry professional program in 2014. Marcus planned to become a wildland fire fighter but Matthew got the better of him and “ruined his life” introducing him to rafting. You’ll know Marcus by his luscious long flowing hair and French wife.

Curtis and Matthew worked together at Upper Pine Fire Rescue on the Wildland Firefighting crew when Matthew first started at Upper Pine. Curtis spent countless hours teaching Matthew how to run a chain saw and fight brush fires. They have remained close friends ever since. You’ll know Curtis by his fiery red hair, big mustache and cool demeanor.
