New Year's Eve is Dani's favorite holiday. She always dreamed of attending a big New Year's Eve celebration but hadn't had the chance.

Tim decided to gather their friends to attend Hotel Derek's "Black & White Electric Ball" party in Houston. He booked a room with a king bed to host a small get-together before the party. At 9:30pm, the group went down to the party.

While at the party, the hotel staff called Tim at around 10pm to let them know they had been upgraded to a better room because the staff discovered "plumbing issues" with their existing room.

Unbeknownst to Dani, Tim had also booked the 1,600 square foot Penthouse Suite and coordinated this "switch-a-roo". Dani suspected something was odd when Tim eagerly told her about the plumbing issues with a smile. She broke down when she saw the closed double doors to the Penthouse Suite.

As Tim opened the doors for her, she saw the white rose pedals that led from the door to a heart-shaped arrangement of petals next to a bottle of champagne, chocolate-covered strawberries, and the large window overlooking the city lights.

Friends set up cameras to capture the special moment. Tim got down on one knee and proposed to Dani as she stood among the petals... and she said yes!
