Our Wedding

In early 2020, Danielle and Andrew first started talking on Bumble. After a few weeks of chatting, they decided to take a leap and go on a date. Andrew was so nervous, he forgot to feed Danielle! (He later learned this almost cost him a second date.) Despite their lack of food, they both laughed and, had great cocktails and conversation. Andrew couldn’t help but notice Danielle’sbeautiful smile as he gazed into her eyes and went in for a kiss- maybe a little forward for the first date. But from that moment, he knew she was the one. Danielle wasn’t sure he was the real deal. But given his charisma and kind personality, she had a good feeling.&nbsp; Andrew then surprised Danielle by asking for a second date as soon as the first one ended! On their second date, Andrew more than made up for not feeding her the first time., The next day at work, she had enough leftovers to feed half her team. From there, it was a load of fun.&nbsp;The world was turning upside down from Covid, and Andrew and Danielle started to spend a lot of time together.&nbsp;They went on unconventional dates, getting to know each other through watching movies, walks, drives, and cooking meals. The two discovered they lived two very different lifestyles. Andrew was a homebody who liked to watch Netflix and enjoy a nice glass of wine in front of the fire. Danielle was a social butterfly who loved to go out, try new places with her friends, and chase good food, cocktails, and laughs.&nbsp; As New York started to slowly come back from lockdown, they were finally able to go on more fun and normal dates. They found ways to mix their lifestyles together, going out with family and friends and also having a good toes-up movie and wine night. In June, three months after they started dating, Andrew told his mom, dad, and two brothers Danielle was the woman He was gonna marry. His brothers thought he was crazy, but he told them, “When you know you found love and want to be with that person the rest of your life, it’s instantaneous. Love doesn’t know the time, guys.” In October, Andrew and his family tragically lost his brother Keith. Danielle was Andrew’s rock every step of the way and helped him and his family through the hardest time. Having Danielle with him made all the difference. It took Danielle longer to start to consider Andrew might be the one. It was when he challenged her “Number One Spiller” title- she had been the reigning champion forever- that Danielle realized she had met her match. She had finally found someone who was just as clumsy and silly as her.&nbsp; &nbsp;Rolling into their first holiday season they found joy and happiness through their shared love of quirky holiday celebrations. Whether it was National Wine Day or Christmas, they embraced each other’s silly rituals, taking little traditions very seriously. From taco nights to beach days to car-aoke marathons, they found the balance they didn’t know they both needed - an even mix of toes up and toes down. It blossomed into a match made for them. Andrew knew he was ready to propose. Andrew orchestrated his master plan to propose. (See Proposal Story). They got engaged and then the planning began. The rest of 2021 has been a whirlwind for the couple, as they moved in together, Danielle embraced Long Island living, and they got to spend even more quality time together.&nbsp;Now, Danielle and Andrew are so excited to start their journey in life as a unit on April 8th, 2022 surrounded by their nearest and dearest. Can’t wait to see you all there!

Our Story

On the day before Valentine’s Day 2021, AT THE EDGE IN MANHATTAN, OVERLOOKING THE SKYLINE. THE WHOLE DAY WAS A BLAST:&nbsp; FROM PANCAKES AND MIMOSAS AT THE BREAKFAST CLUB TO&nbsp; CHEESE AND WINE AT MERCADO IN THE CITY, TO&nbsp; A VIEWING AT “THE EDGE.” IT WAS THERE, AS DANIELLE BLABBED AWAY ABOUT THE SKYLINE AND ITS LANDMARKS, THAT ANDREW STARTED THE SWEETEST ROMANTIC SPEECH. DANIELLE QUICKLY REALIZED ANDREW WAS DOWN ON ONE KNEE. HE WAS PROPOSING.THE DAY ENDED WITH A PICK UP FROM UNCLE AL, WHO WHISKED THE HAPPY COUPLE AWAY WITH CELEBRATORY CHAMPAGNE, TO JOIN THEIR PARENTS AND SIBLINGS AT A SMALL ENGAGEMENT SHINDIG. IT WAS A CLOUD NINE KINDA NIGHT.

BFF to the Groom since elementary school. Steve is the best host, chef, and friend anyone can ask for. Salt of the earth kinda guy with the biggest heart.

Cousin of the Bride and inseparable since birth and has witnessed some of the bride’s most epic spills. The bride and her used to pretend they were twin sisters; funny enough, later in life she became a Twin Momma. Megan is one the funniest people you will ever meet.

Megan Tamburello

BFF and neighbor to the Groom since they were babies. Matt is the groom’s beach bum buddy.  Always great laughs with Matt  and is an avid tequila fan.

Matthew Sirignano

BFF since the Bride and her met at 15 and bonded over their love of Little Giants. Lawyer, The Best Driver, Board Game Champ, fellow Beach Bum, and has a lovely singing voice.

Kathryn O’Neill

Captivating friend of the groom from college. Sal is  the jokester, the friend who always lends a dedicated ear, and carries a grand smile. Sal is as genuine as they come. 

Sal Dazzo

BFF of over 25 years to the bride. Born in Queens, and now taking over the Philly Vintage Market. Jessica is filled with sarcastic wit, excellent music recommendations, and is a beloved fan of a good French Fry. Cool mom to Claudia.

Friends with the Groom since HS. Gerry is the number one ball buster of the group. He’s always got a zing and a chuckle. Loving dad to  his three girls.

Sorority Pledge Sis, Apt. Roomate, and best friend to the bride. Ronni is sassy, classy, and a tad smart assey. Dog momma of 2 pups, big fan of pumpkin, softball champ, and producer extraordinaire.

The Wedding Block is under Rissmeyer/Gates Wedding, There are rooms still available, for this block. Please be aware that there is a booking cut-off date of 3/9/22 to make reservations within the block, at the discounted group rate. Guests can make a reservation by calling 516-625-2700 and mentioning the room block.

Hilton Garden Inn Roslyn

We will be providing arranged transportation to and from the venue. For the arrival to the reception and for the start of cocktail hour, there will be two buses picking up at both of the hotel locations.&nbsp; Party and Shuttle Buses will arrive at an ETA of 6:00-6:15 pm at the hotels and will take you to Soundview Caterers for the Reception. Please be ready by 6:00 pm for pickup in front of your hotel. There are two Transportation Captians:Hilton Garden Inn- Joe Funtime FerranteRoslyn Tapestry- Uncle Judge Nick Marvelous Rissmeyer After the reception, there will be two timeslots for departure transportation. 1. Transportation for those who wish to not attend the after-party will pick up hotel guests from the venue at 12:15 am and drop-off at both hotels. 2. Transportation for our fellow party animals will be for the conclusion of our after-party with an ETA of 1:15 am and will drop-off at both hotels.
