Our wedding venue is in a rural vacation area where many people have cabins that they go to in the summer and fall. Think of northern Minnesota, but on a much smaller scale. It is hard to find accommodations if you wait too long. It can get extremely expensive and you will have a very long drive to the venue if you procrastinate. Fallingwater is a world-wide attraction and it attracts lots of tourists. If you are even slightly interested in coming to our wedding, we recommend finding an accommodation immediately and putting a refundable deposit on something so that it doesn't limit your options later on.
Ohiopyle Vacation Rentals
This is a website for the Ohiopyle area that rents vacation homes. Please try to check this website for airbnb and Vrbo rentals before booking on those sites because many of the properties are listed here as well.
Turning Leaf Vacation Rentals
Turning Leaf is a vacation home rental company based in the Pittsburgh area that specializes in vacation rentals in the general area of our wedding venue. You can see their properties right on their website. This is a small and locally-owned business.
Starlight Hill Bed & Breakfast
This is basically a big house and would be a good option for a large multi-family group. This is about a four minute drive from the wedding venue.
Yogi Bear's Jellystone Park
There are a few cabins available for rental and options for RVs and tent camping as well. This about a five minute drive from the wedding venue.
Falls Market Inn & Suite
This is a small motel in the town of Ohiopyle. Not the most fancy option, but a nice choice if you want to be right in the middle of a town with lots of outdoor activities and a handful of restaurants and shops. This hotel is about 4 miles from the wedding venue or a 7 minute drive.
Benner's Meadow Run RV Campground
This campground has cabins, yurts and RV spaces available. It is about 10 miles from the wedding venue and is estimated to be a 20 minute drive.
Nemacolin
Nemacolin is a very fancy resort which is about an eleven mile or 20 minute drive from the wedding venue. If you have the extra cash and want to treat yourselves, this is a great option. We have stayed here before for a work function and it is absolutely beautiful.
Historic Summit Inn Resort
The Summit Inn is a large resort which may be on the pricier side, but a very nice place to stay. This hotel is located 15 miles from our wedding venue (approx. 24 minutes driving).
Paddler's Lane Retreat
This is a small locally owned campground that has a couple of cabins available for rent. We have tent camped at this campground several times and absolutely love it. This is about 14 miles or a 25 minute drive from the wedding venue.
Smith House Inn
The Smith House Inn is an old restored property in the town of Confluence which is absolutely adorable. This property is about 15 miles or a 25 minute drive from the wedding venue.
Days Inn by Wyndham Donegal
The Days Inn in Donegal is one of the few traditional hotels within a reasonable distance of our venue. It is about 18 miles from our venue (approx. 25 miles driving).
Airbnb
There are lots of properties available in the general area of our wedding venue. Just be careful to double check on Google Maps what the actual driving distance is from the wedding venue. They like to show you the distance in miles which is very misleading when you are driving on these tiny country roads.
Vrbo
There are lots of properties on Vrbo near our wedding venue. We recommend double checking the driving distance using Google Maps before booking a property just to be safe.
