Getting to Frisco from Denver

Rent a Car:

DIA Airport has tons of rental options for you including Enterprise, Hertz, Avis, Budget etc. We recommend connecting with other friends / family to see if you can carpool the hour and a half ride up to the mountains.

Take Public Transit

Grab the AirTran from DIA to Union Station. Once there, you can then get a Bustang "west line" bus up to the Frisco Transit Station. Check the website for departure times.

Ubers unfortunately aren't very reliable up here in the mountains, so we do recommend having a car if you'll be here for a few days and want to do exploring.

Where to Stay

Hotels

Hotel Indigo in Silverthorne: A very cute boutique hotel across the street from our home, about a 15 minute drive to the wedding venue. It's walking distance to mom and pop restaurants, coffeeshops, breweries and shopping. (Bride and Groom will be staying here!) There's a fun tequila/taco bar on the first floor where we might end up at for the wedding after party.

Homewood Suites in Dillon: For those of you with points, this is a great Hilton option right along Lake Dillon. They've got a really cute rooftop restaurant/bar called The Vue with a lookout deck overlooking the lake.

AC Hotel in Frisco: Great option for people trying to collect Marriott points. Conveniently located near Whole Foods and Outer Range Brewery. You can also walk to the Frisco Marina at Lake Dillon from here.

Frisco Lodge: Located right on Main Street in Frisco, you can take a walk through history while staying in this cute and well preserved original mining town. Main Street has very quant coffeeshops, restaurants, and bars. You can also walk to the Frisco Marina to access Lake Dillon.

Frisco Inn on Galena: Another great option in Frisco right off of Main Street and walking distance to everything. Dani is a big fan of their Spa services here too!

Quality Inn Silverthorne: A more budget friendly option in Silverthorne. Car friendly but a tiny bit less walkable.

Airbnb and VRBO

Renting a house is definitely a great option for groups of friends and family traveling together. We recommend staying in Silverthorne, Frisco and Dillon. Breckenridge is also a great option but may be pricier - plus you can always drive 15-20 minutes from anywhere in our county to explore Breck's Main Street.
