It all started when our parents Ron Holtz and Brenda Robertson became coworkers at Crisco. Over the years they spent together, they shared stories about their children. Two of the children's stories were abundantly clear that they were both oddballs. With each new story about the other, they both agreed that their son and daughter would get along well with each other.

One day they thought it would be a good idea to have them meet each other but Joe was taken at the time. Ron had said that it wouldn't last long but that relationship ended up lasting 8 months.

After Joe had healed his wounds from his last relationship, he received Dani's phone number from his father and messaged her. He then set up a date with her at a park that was in between their homes (it was nowhere near the middle in reality). They had a very long and very interesting first date in which Dani dabbed on Joe and that was what hooked him for her. Much to her surprise, he asked her out to a second date.

Both of their unique personalities and kind hearts led them to find love in each other's company. Whether it's a fancy dinner or running errands, they choose to be together whenever and however they can. Although Joe never had a specific moment when he knew he wanted to marry Dani, he felt it grow over time and was ready in September of 2023.

Nearly three years later after the first date, we all get to come together and share in the love of these two wonderful people.
