Danielle and Phillip’s story kicked off in 2011 at a dive bar in Birmingham, Alabama, where mutual friends (and maybe a few cheap drinks) brought them together. Back then, they were young, fun, and rarely missed a night out… which meant they quickly became inseparable friends, spending nearly every day together. Even when Danielle moved to Huntsville, they never lost touch. After years of joking, laughing, and always being in each other’s corner, they began to realize that maybe there was something more than friendship brewing. Phillip decided to take a chance. He packed his bags for Charlotte, North Carolina, and the two eventually took their friendship to the next level. Since then, they’ve lived in three states, collected countless stories, and now are calling Dallas, Texas home. From dive-bar nights to forever plans, their adventure together just keeps getting better. What started as an almost instant friendship grew into a love story, and they can’t wait to see where the future takes them next!

It is extravagant.  It is a Richmond tradition.  And to experience it, you will need to make reservations at least a month in advance. Champagne Sunday Brunch at The Jefferson Hotel is a must-do when you are in Richmond. Marvel at the beauty of this historic hotel’s iconic Rotunda lobby while enjoying a decadent buffet of breakfast favorites, fresh seafood, lavish lunch entrees and sides, endless desserts and, of course, mimosas.  A jazz trio, ice carvings and exceptional service, complete this uniquely Richmond dining experience.

The Science Museum of Virginia is located in Richmond, Virginia. The Science Museum calls the historic Broad Street Station its home. Featuring interactive exhibitions, a planetarium with a quarter-acre screen, hands-on labs, live demos and more, weve got something for curious minds of all ages. Hours: Tuesday–Sunday 9:30 a.m.–5 p.m.

Located just north of Richmond, Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens covers over 50 acres and includes Victorian gardens, an 11,000 square foot conservatory, and more than a dozen themed gardens such as Asian Valley and the Children’s Garden. With two cafes, a massive playground, and a network of walking paths.

The epicenter of Richmond’s brewery scene (not to mention several cider, mead, wine and spirits producers) is the small neighborhood of Scott’s Addition, Scotts Addition is the beverage district of Richmond, home to Ardent, Brambly Park urban winery, Isley, Strangeways, Vasen, The Veil Brewing and new breweries that seem to be opening every day. Plus several cideries, a meadery, and multiple distilleries. Once a bustling industrial zone, Scotts Additions factories have been converted into hip lofts and party destinations. Must-dos: check out ZZQ, Longoven, Brenner Pass, River City Roll, and earn your stamps on the Richmond Beer Trail.
