When is the wedding?
Sunday, November 23rd, 2025 shuttle transportation begins at 3PM at the doubletree hotel lobby and the wedding ceremony will begin at 3:30PM.
What is the deadline to RSVP?
The last day to RSVP is October 20th.
How do I RSVP?
You must RSVP on the website using the first and last name as spelled on your wedding invitation envelope you received in the mail.
What is the Dress Code for the wedding?
Black Tie Optional
(Don’t let the optional part confuse you. This is a formal dress code… but don’t feel pressured to go full tux & princess ball gown if that’s not your style.)
What does black tie optional mean?
Formal, or “black-tie optional,” is a step down from black-tie but still fancy. Men can wear a dark suit with a tie instead of a tuxedo. Ladies should wear either a floor-length evening gown, or a formal (longer hem) elegant cocktail dress.

What airport should I fly into?
Richmond International Airport (RIC) is the closest airport to the area. No need to rent a car unless you want to. there is Uber/Lyft available in Richmond & we will also have shuttle transportation to and from doubletree hotel on our wedding day to help guests get to the event.
Is there a hotel room block?
Yes - the hotel room block link is on the website under "Hotel Room Block" we have booked a block of rooms at the Doubletree hotel Richmond Airport.
The link to the hotel room block isnt giving me a special rate?
Rooms in the block were limited. If the link in the website is not showing our special rate they promotion rate could be sold out. This does not mean the hotel is full and we hope you still book a room there! Try calling the hotel directly to see if they will still honor the rate by manually overriding in the system. Does the Wedding Venue have parking?
Yes, there is ample parking space at the mansion.
Is there transportation to and from the wedding?
Yes, for wedding guests staying at the doubletree Richmond airport hotel.
They will provide a free shuttle service to/from the event. Meet in the front hotel lobby for the shuttle pickup at 3:00.
Shuttles back from the event will start at around 8:30PM and will continue until the wedding ends at 9:30.
Can I bring a date, friend, or my child?
Please refer to the guests listed on your invitation envelope and RSVP card for details, or reach out to the Bride or Groom with specific questions.
Is the wedding indoors or outside?
The wedding ceremony will take place inside. Currently cocktail hour is planned to be outdoors and heaters will be provided if it is chilly. Dinner and reception will be held indoors.
In the event that it is too cold or weather does not cooperate all events will be held indoors.
What is Richmond weather like in November?
November in RVA usually sees average highs around 59–61 °F and lows near 40 °F.
Will there be food at the wedding?
Yes! Immediately following the ceremony, the cocktail hour and reception will begin. Passed apps, an open bar, and a station dinner service will be offered.
Do I need to preselect my dinner meal?
Nope! Dinner will be station-style with plenty of options. Just let us know if you need a vegetarian or vegan meal in advance through the RSVP.
Will there be an open bar at the wedding?
We’ll have an open bar for you to enjoy. No need to pay for drinks... but if you’d like to tip the bartenders, feel free!
Is the wedding venue handicap accessible?
Yes, the venue is ADA compliant.
What should I do if I am late to the wedding or any other events over the weekend?
Don't worry! We’ll be happy to see you whenever you arrive. The only exception is the wedding ceremony... once it begins, the doors will close and guests won’t be able to enter until it’s over, so please plan accordingly.

Yes, we are registered on Honeyfund & Zola
Where should we bring/send gifts?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home at 5201 Gibson Drive The Colony, Texas 75056.
A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Do I have to bring a gift?
Absolutely not. Having you with us on our big day is all we could ask for. If you’d still like to give something, we'd love it! Feel free to check out our registry link on our website, but please don’t feel obligated.
Are there other events besides the wedding happening over the weekend?
Yes! Men are invited to join Phillip on Saturday afternoon for lunch and axe throwing (please RSVP through website) and we will be having a welcome party at Park RVA on Saturday night (please RSVP through website).
Will there be food and drinks at other events over the weekend?
The Welcome Party will have dinner hosted for any attendees who can make it & a cash bar will be available.
Afternoon with the groom for axe throwing with Phillip on will have a served lunch hosted for guests & cash bar available if desired.
Who can I contact on the wedding day in the event of emergency or change of plans?
Danielle and Phillip will not have their phones to answer questions on wedding day. Please contact Stephanie Gross or Chris Gross to assist with any emergencies or last minute change of plans that you may need to communicate on the wedding day.
