It’s Fall in Lake Tahoe. Summer is winding down and the winter ski slopes are not yet open. However, there are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the mountains, waterfalls, creeks, lakes, parks, and forests for those who have some extra time. Fall colors are showing late September to Mid October - a great time to go hiking or take a boat cruise or a scenic drive.
And of course, in Nevada they have casinos for those who want to try their luck!
