We’re so excited to have you join us in Conejos, Colorado, for our wedding! The ceremony will take place at the beautiful Kerr Lake, which is located at an elevation of 12,000 feet. The surrounding area is stunning, but please note that the campsite is about 20 miles down a dirt road and can be treacherous, especially at night. Because of this, we strongly advise all guests to plan on arriving the day before the wedding, Friday, the 13th, so you can safely make the drive while it’s still light outside. The ceremony will be on Saturday, the 14th, and we’d love for you to be there to celebrate with us!
Travel to the Ceremony:
The road to Kerr Lake requires 4WD, so be prepared if you plan to drive up yourself. We will be organizing a caravan, and there will be extra truck beds and seats available to hitch a ride in. Please be aware that if you miss the caravan, you won’t be able to attend the ceremony. For those who can’t make it up the mountain, don’t worry—we’ll be filming the ceremony so you can still be a part of the moment!
The reception at Lake Fork Campground, Campsite #17, will be a night of enchantment. Savor delicious Jambalaya and indulge in sweet cannoli cups, then dance beneath a celestial sky. BYOB, dress warmly as the night falls, and get ready for a magical celebration to remember.
Accommodations:
You are welcome to arrive as early as Wednesday, the 11th, and stay as late as Monday, the 16th. That’s how long we’ll be at the campsite, and we would love for you to enjoy the area with us for as long as you’re able!
There will be tent camping available at our family campsite on a first-come, first-served basis.
If camping isn’t your thing, there are cabins available for rent in the nearby town. Please refer to the link below for lodging options.
Sleeping accommodations and meals are the responsibility of each guest. We will be providing dinner at the wedding, but if you don’t have your own camping cooking equipment, feel free to reach out to us, and we’ll see if there’s an available meal plan to add you to our camping group.
We recommend planning to stay through Sunday, the 15th, to fully enjoy the weekend with us!
We can’t wait to share this special day with you, and we want to make sure everything goes smoothly for everyone. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have any questions or need assistance with travel or accommodations.
