Danny and Brooklyn met on Bumble, an online dating app, in August of 2022. Within the first month, they knew they had found the person they wanted to spend the rest of their life with. The couple made things official on September 4 while kayaking on Summit Lake, just outside of Tekamah, NE. Danny proposed the following year, two days before Thanksgiving, at the waterfront of Gene Leahy Mall in downtown Omaha.
