When is my RSVP due by?

Please have RSVP details submitted by July 1st.

Are kids invited?

YES! We want to dance with them!

Can I bring a plus one?

Space is limited, your invite will be addressed to all guests invited.

Is there a rehearsal dinner Saturday?

There will not be a rehearsal dinner, as Danny and Brooklyn have wedding preparation plans Saturday evening. However, we will plan to do an early morning hike Saturday morning on a local trail. There is a great pizza joint called the "Secret Stash" in the downtown area, that we will likely get pizza for anyone who is in town and would like to join. More details at a later date. Check back closer to September for more!

What do I wear?

Please wear your Sunday best. We want everyone to be comfortable, but also look good for pictures!

Are there a block of rooms reserved at any local hotels?

We did not make arrangements to reserve rooms, but there are many options with AirBnB, VRBO, and local hotels. There are also plenty of condos and hotel rooms with it being a Ski Resort town. September is the off season in Crested Butte, so there shouldn't be many tourists in the area. With that being said, you may want to make reservations and book a place to stay sooner rather than later.

Is there alcohol at the wedding?

In respect of Danny and Brooklyn's decision not to have alcohol, they would also appreciate if you did not bring your own. There will be signature mocktails and other drinks to enjoy. We will have plenty of fun without it!

What is the altitude in Crested Butte?

The base altitude in Crested Butte is around 9,000ft. To insure you have the best experience in the mountains and on your trip, please be sure to drink LOTS of water to stay hydrated as you are traveling up into the mountain. To avoid altitude sickness- eat well balanced and nutritious meals, STAY HYDRATED, avoid strenuous activity and alcohol the first 48 hours, and ascend gradually if your schedule allows. Altitude sickness symptoms include nausea, headache, shortness of breath, and dizziness. Diamox (acetazolamide) can help prevent altitude sickness and speed up acclimatization, especially if you are traveling to high altitudes quickly.

What is the weather like in Crested Butte in September?

September provides average day temps of mid to high 60s to low 70s with chances of rain. And night temps of low 30s and chances of a light snowfall. The reception pavilion is not entirely closed off from the outdoors, you should plan to bring a jacket or sweater to keep cozy as temps drop in the evening. Please keep your eye on the forecast ahead of your trip so you can plan accordingly.
