In 2023 we got married! You helped make that happen and it was awesome. (Professional photos and community photos!) So awesome, in fact, that we'd like to invite you all to get together again this year.

Here's some of the story for how that came about:

"So my buddy Morgan helps run this Burning Man camp, they have an extra ticket, and you're one of the few people I know who's impulsive enough to camp with 15 strangers in the desert with two weeks notice. What d'ya say?"

Having met in 2015 at Burning Man,* Morgan and Daria stayed friends as Morgan built maker spaces and got elected to city council in Truckee, and Daria schemed about making Reno the Usonian center of immersive theatre before getting accepted to grad school at UT.

*Technically, in Truckee, first, but whatever.

In 2017, Daria came back out to Reno for a wedding, to see an Eclipse, and to go to Burning Man. Morgan and Daria *may have* hooked up after seeing the eclipse, and well, to put it succinctly, have started a summer fling that has ceased to end.

Thanks for celebrating this total eclipse of the heart with us.

To quickly returnn to that first photo together, one can't help but wonder, 'Did they know?'

Of course not. It took years for sparks to fly. And yet, when the depth of someone's smile goes keeps going out toward the horizon like that, I guess you just want to keep getting to know them better.
