David and Carolyn met at St. Joseph's School in Herndon, VA in the third grade. Though they attended different high schools and colleges, David and Carolyn remained close friends. They began dating while David was attending Boston University and Carolyn was at the University of Virginia.

After graduation, Carolyn pursued professional goals in the corporate world while balancing a Master’s Degree. Meanwhile, David began Air Force pilot training in Oklahoma. While geographically separated, David and Carolyn supported each other to develop into the best versions of themselves.

Understanding that life is incomplete without each other, David proposed on Christmas morning 2020.

Carolyn continues to crush her career goals while David is in Phoenix learning to fly the F-16. They are excited to reunite day-to-day lives as David will move back to Washington, D.C. for his first assignment in the Viper.
