Dawn and Barbara met in the 7th grade, when their science teacher randomly sat them together as lab partners. He told the class to look at their partner and asked, "Do you feel like you want to punch that person in the face? If not, that is your new lab partner." From that moment on, they have been not only friends, but became more like sisters.
Marilyn Martin - Bridesmaid
Dawn met Marilyn many years ago when she would come down to Florida to visit her mother. Dawn always knew the night was going to be fun when Marilyn was there. When we moved to Four Lakes in 2020, we were able to get to know her even more and learned that the same holds true now. It's always fun when Marilyn is around.
Sarah Bastian - Bridesmaid
We met Sarah when we moved to Clermont in 2017. She lived across the street from us. She was our neighbor, but before long, she became a good friend. Sarah is always the first one to be up for an adventure. It's always interesting to learn just how fun and fearless Sarah is.
Anthony Meleo - Best Man
Anthony has known Jim since the day he was born, which makes it no coincidence that he calls Jim Dad. They have shared too many adventures to name. Jim is proud to have this boy who has grown into a fine young man stand next to him on this day.
Joe Fauvel - Second Best Man
Jim and Joe met in the 10th grade after Joe's family moved to our town. We hit it off immediately when we sat together in our lounge period. We talked every day and found we had a lot in common. After a month of sitting together, we both realized that we didn't even know each others name. One day, Joe broke the ice and said, "By the way, what's your name?" We've been friends ever since.
Eric Bastian - Groomsman
When we moved to Clermont, we met Eric. In the beginning,we shared pleasantries until Super Bowl Sunday, where the Patriots played the Eagles. Everyone knows how big of a Pats fan I am. Well, that's when I learned Eric is a diehard Eagles fan. After the game, I went out to take out the trash, and Eric was running around outside celebrating. Then, he ran over to me, hugged me, and said great game, man. Even though I was bummed about the loss, i realized I had a new friend, and the friendship has grown each year.
