The summer after Debs sophomore year of college she met Ryan at summerfest. Debs roommate Danielle knew Ryan since grade school. In fact, Danielle is one of Ryan’s oldest friends since their brothers played sports together. Danielle’s high school sweetheart, now husband, Christian and Ryan were not only classmates in high school but teammates in baseball and basketball.
After briefly meeting at summerfest, Deb and Ryan did not communicate until New Years Eve of 2018. Christian went to college at Concordia with Deb and Danielle had a New Year’s Eve party where Deb and Ryan hit it off.
Ryan went to school at University Wisconsin La Crosse, and came back once a month to see Deb. Finally after talking for 5 months, on June 1st 2019 Ryan and Deb made it official.
Fast forward 5 years, Ryan asked Deb to marry him on September 28th 2024.
