The summer after Deb’s sophomore year of college, she met Ryan at Summerfest. Deb’s roommate, Danielle, had known Ryan since grade school. In fact, Danielle is one of Ryan’s oldest friends — their brothers played sports together growing up. Danielle’s high school sweetheart (now husband), Christian, was not only Ryan’s classmate in high school but also his teammate in both baseball and basketball.After their brief meeting at Summerfest, Deb and Ryan didn’t reconnect until New Year’s Eve in 2018. Christian, who went to Concordia with Deb and Danielle, hosted a New Year’s Eve party where Deb and Ryan hit it off.At the time, Ryan was attending the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse but made trips back home once a month to see Deb. After five months of getting to know each other, they officially started dating on June 1, 2019.Fast forward five years — on September 28, 2024, Ryan asked Deb to marry him.

In the heart of Lake Country, there are plenty of things to do while we are busy taking post wedding photos!  Within walking distance of the Church you can: -walk the board walk along Fowler Lake -visit the large variety of shops or boutiques around town on Wisconsin Ave -Grab a drink at a variety of restaurants or bars on Wisconsin Ave: Fiesta Cancun, The Ecetera, Crafty Cow, Splash Martini Bar, etc. -Walk around the circumference of Fowler Lake starting at the board walk. About 2 mile all around

Things to Do Between Ceremony and Reception 

Please arrive at 1:30 at St. Pauls Ev. Lutheran Church to avoid delays due to limited parking. St. Pauls church is also a school and the end of the school day will cause limited parking- especially in their designated lot. Respectfully arrive no earlier than 130, but close to that time. Street parking is available as well as a parking lot across the street. Please refer to the picture above to show best areas of parking in green and where to avoid parking in red. The entrance will be up the steps into the sanctuary to be seated. If you have any questions please feel free to reach out to me or a family member!

Cocktail Hour starts at 4pm when the Golden Mast opens. There is parking available in the green highlighted areas. There is a fish fry at the restaurant and a Friday evening can get busy so please plan accordingly for parking. It is recommended and easiest to get to the Golden Mast via "Lacys Ln" off of "Lake Dr".
