Harrisburg International Airport
Harrisburg International is the closest airport to the venue. Many may also like to drive. Harrisburg is the capitol city of Pennsylvania (no, not Phildelphia)! American, Delta and United all offer connections, and these are affiliated with various international airlines, as well. We will also attempt to arrange pick-up from the airport for any who fly.
The wedding is on the Saturday, the 26th, but wedding guests are welcome to arrive as early as Thursday, July 24th.
HOTELS
--Hampton Inn-Harrisburg East (Hershey area) - $110 a night and 7.6 miles from the Manor on the Front. Close to the airport, as well as Hershey sights great for kids like Chocolate World and Hershey Park. (Gee, why did Deb choose a hotel near chocolate?) We love Hampton, because the beds are so comfy.
--City House Bed and Breakfast - a bit south, just 2.1 miles, a bit pricey at up to $200 or so per night but with things to do within walking distance, market to bookshop, both hot and continental breakfast, 24-7 access to coffee and snacks and so on. The website has more.
There are hundreds more Harrisburg area hotels online. Remember Hershey and other towns are nearby. If you would like us to help book a hotel for you, just let us know. We haven’t booked a block of hotel rooms, as our wedding is small and they will hold us financially responsible for the rooms that do not fill. Thank you for understanding!
