In the midst of the Covid pandemic, when the world seemed to be on pause, fate found a way to bring us together. Albert was DJing livestreams to keep the music alive, and Dee happened to stumble upon one of his sets that her girl Nikki told her about. He looked incredibly familiar, and Dee couldnt shake the feeling that she knew him from somewhere. Curiosity got the better of her, so she reached out to him—not to slide into his DMs as Albert loves to say, but to figure out where our paths had crossed before.

As it turns out, their connection ran deeper than we initially realized. Years ago, Dee had done marketing for a restaurant/club where Albert DJed. She even bartended there, and distinctly remembered making a flyer for one of his events, his logo prominently displayed on her desktop from creating his flyer.

Our conversations flowed effortlessly, and we decided to meet up for a park date. Dee wasnt looking for a relationship at the time, but our weekly dates quickly turned into every other day. Albert soon met Dee’s son, Damien, and the two hit it off instantly. They shared a love of fishing and then spent many summer days bonding over bike rides and geocaching adventures.

Our connection deepened with every passing day, and what started as a chance encounter during a global pandemic, blossomed into a beautiful, loving family. Now, we are the Three Musketeers—Albert, Dee, and Damien—embarking on this incredible journey together.
