Things to do

Visit SchoolHouse Beach ~ 860 School House Beach Rd, Washington, WI 54246. If you need a reason, beyond we said it was cool, here is what the New York Times has said about our humble beach, along with some fun Island History.

The Fragrant Isle Lavender Shop and Farm ~ 1350 Airport Rd, Washington, WI 54246 brings many folks to the Island. The farm began when a French womanwith connection to the Island realized the island soil was very similar to the soil of Provence in France. The fields will likely not yet be in bloom, but they are still beautiful and the shop is lovely for all things lavender.

Hike- see the map in the link for the hiking trails on the Island. None of them are very long, but they are all lovely.

Paddle Board or Kayak. You can rent paddle boards or kayaks from Island Adventure company. I would recommend paddling in Jackson Harbor.
