Where is the wedding taking place?
Our wedding will be held at Wild Roots in Lockhart, Texas, and we couldn’t imagine a more perfect spot for our celebration. Both the ceremony and reception will take place entirely outdoors, so come ready to enjoy the fresh air and natural beauty as we celebrate together!
What time should I arrive?
The ceremony will begin at 6PM, so please plan to arrive 20-30 minutes before to settle in and enjoy a drink or snack!
If you are planning to stay on-site for the night, please plan to arrive at 5PM to allow time to pitch your tent.
What is the dress code?
We're aiming for a semi-formal vibe with a touch of relaxed elegance. Feel free to dress up and add your flair, but comfort is key—especially in the Texas heat! Both the ceremony and reception will take place entirely outdoors, so think breezy and chic to stay cool, and don’t forget your dancing shoes! Are kids invited?
While we love little ones, we’ve decided to keep this celebration an adult-only affair to give everyone a chance to let loose and have a great time. Thanks for understanding!
Is there a registry?

Can I bring a plus-one?
We’ve done our best to accommodate guests. Please check your invitation for details about plus-ones. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out to us.
What should I do if I have food allergies or dietary restrictions?
Please let us know ahead of time! We want everyone to enjoy the meal, so just reach out to us via our contact form or text us at (817) 800-0767, and we’ll make sure your dietary needs are taken care of.
What’s the best way to get to the venue?
For those flying in, the nearest airport is Austin-Bergstrom, and we recommend renting a car to get to the venue. If you're driving, the venue is about an hour outside of Austin, so please plan accordingly. A grass parking lot will be available to the left once you have entered the venue.
How can we keep the celebration going after the wedding?
The fun doesn’t have to end when the music does! Guests are welcome to pitch a tent and camp on-site at the venue to keep the celebration alive. Wild Roots offers plenty of amenities, including pickleball, volleyball, soccer, and basketball courts—all with lights for late-night fun. We’ll make sure the party vibes continue, so bring your camping gear and join us for an unforgettable night under the Texas stars!
Can I bring my dog to the wedding?
We have decided to keep it a pup-free event (except for our own furry friends). We kindly ask that you leave your dogs at home and enjoy the celebration with us! Thank you for understanding.
Can I take photos during the ceremony?
We’d love for you to capture memories of our big day! However, we ask that you leave the ceremony photos to our professional photographer so we can all be present and enjoy the moment. You’re welcome to snap away during the reception!
Will there be dancing?
Oh yes, we can’t wait to hit the dance floor! We’ll have a DJ and plenty of tunes to get everyone moving. Start practicing your best moves!
