Cole and Demi met at Myrtle Grove Middle School. They became friends and started dating in 7th grade. Cole had passed a note to Demi in class asking her to be his girlfriend. They dated for a short 2 weeks.

Cole and Demi dated again in 8th grade for a few months before breaking up days before the 8th grade formal. The story of who broke up with who is still controversial and depends on who you ask!

Cole and Demi were at Hoggard High School together and reconnected when Cole reached out to Demi in February of their Sophomore year. He chased her for months when she said she did not want a boyfriend, but finally caved when he asked her to be his girlfriend on June 11, 2016. They rest is history!

Demi went away to Raleigh for 2 years while Cole stayed in Wilmington.

They visited Tamarindo, Costa Rica with Cole's family and it quickly became their favorite place.

Many trips back and forth, phone calls and facetime calls were made in those 2 years!

Demi came back to Wilmington during COVID, and they both attended UNCW's Cameron School of Business.

Lincoln became a part of the family!

Cole and Demi were living the best life! Their favorite nights consisted of dinner with friends, sushi dates, boat rides and spending a lazy day with Lincoln!

Cole and Demi had planned to take a boat ride to see the family's new boat, where Cole proposed to Demi and she said YES!
