Nick and Demis lives began to intertwine during their undergrad at the University of Minnesota Duluth (go dogs!). Demi was fast friends her freshman year with, coincidentally, Nicks group of high school friends. Who knew this would be what led the two to their forever...


Nick and Demi officially met and talked to each other one Sunday night in January of 2017, although Nick will say they had run into each other many times prior. Nick continued to try and get Demis attention, but Demi was what some might call oblivious to how Nick felt. Until April that year when Nick followed Demi down to BEBO (a well known college event in Mankato, MN). When Nick showed up, this is when Demi knew there was something between them. Nick asked if they could take a picture together (see photo above), which he then posted on instagram and captioned wife. Now here we are over seven years later making that all come true.

After undergrad graduation, Demi obtained her second degree as a registered nurse. While Demi was finishing nursing school, Nick moved to Milwaukee, WI to begin pharmacy school. The two were long distance for a year, until Demi graduated and moved to Milwaukee so they could finally be together and in the same state again.

While in Milwaukee, the two built their life together, Nick becoming a pharmacist, Demi becoming a cardiovascular ICU nurse, and the two getting the light of their lives- their golden retriever Moose. In their free time, the couple loves trying new breweries, going to Bucks games, traveling, or just spending a lazy night in with Moose. Moving to a new state without any familiar faces was difficult, but they had each other, and that was more than enough to have the time of their lives and make Milwaukee their greatest adventure to date.
