We met for the first time at McDonald's in 2018, Jason was a manager already working there for a while and Denisa was just starting her new job.

After Denisa quit McDonald's in January 2020, we hadn’t spoken or seen each other since. We saw each other again on June 19, 2020 in an outing with common friends where we both had a strong connection.

On June 27, 2020 we went on our first date. We got bubble tea and we went for a walk along the river. We both wanted to keep the date going, so we decided to get lost on the way back home by turning left and right randomly to see where the road would bring us - which led us to a cute walk in a park before it started raining and we headed back.

On August 25th 2020, we went on a trip to Toronto with our friends Rallou, Alex, Thanasi, and Nick which was our first trip together.

On August 31st 2020, after our trip we made our relationship official. This was the beginning of our forever.

For the first part of our relationship, with all the restrictions in place, our dates consisted mainly of playing Monopoly, going for a hike, or ordering food.

In 2021, we started living together in a condo and making even more memories! We also went on more trips together :

In July 2022 we went to Bruce Peninsula.

In August 2022 we went to Vermont.

In December 2022 we went to Walt Disney.

In February 2023 we went to New York.

In June 2023 we went to Hungary and Romania.

In October 2023 we went to Cuba.

On June 7th 2023, during our trip in Europe to both of our home countries (Hungary and Romania), Jason popped the question at Fisherman's Bastion, with a fairytale view. Of course, Denisa said yes and they celebrated with a bottle of champagne!

In November 2023, we added a kitten to our little family - Yuki! He was only a few weeks old, born on September 9th 2023 and quickly became friends with our dog, Icy.
