Denise and Josh first met in the Summer of 1995, and stayed in touch over the years as friends. In May of 2023 Josh found Denise online and asked to recconect over dinner. Their first date was at the Tropics Island Grill & Ale House in Camino, where they caught up on the last 15 years and Josh enjoyed a Moco Loco for dinner. It also happened to be mother's day, so Josh took Denise to the grocery outlet to find some flowers for his mother, Rhonda.

Since then, Josh and Denise have had many adventures in disc golf and Tahoe and have built a really fun life with one another. They both spend every day making each other's lives better and happier.

On July 27th of 2024, at Mermaid Cove on Echo Lake, Josh proposed to Denise in front of most of his family, and Denise's daughter Kelly. Denise immediately accepted, and the planning began! The wedding is only 90 days after the proposal, beacuse "I don't want to wait that long" - Josh

We both cannot wait for this wedding! We are so excited for our futures. We have so many plans aspirations, and are so deepy in love and comitted to living our best lives ever.
