Things to Do

Tampa Riverwalk

Super close to the venue and most likely the hotel you will be staying at, this 2 mile walk is perfect in the mornings or during a lovely fall day. You can either start on the Bay side (which is where we will be boarding the ship) or Armature Works! This was one of the very first things we did when we moved to Florida. Our 2 mile adventure was accompanied by some lovely drinks where Derek proceeded to lose me in the crowd for 20 minutes. Both of our phones were dead. LOL. Don't be like us!

St. Pete Pier

The St. Pete Pier is one of our favorite spots! The pier is about 2 miles long and offers drinks, pizza, and ice-cream. It also features a cute little beach! On Saturday's they have a mini morning market which we often find ourselves at. We have taken several friends and family members! At the end of the pier is a beautiful restaurant where you can see the beautiful skyline of downtown St. Pete! This location will always be so special to us since it is one of the places we shot our engagement photos!

John's Pass is such a fun place to be! Full of shops and restaurants. We find ourselves here at least once a month. If you are looking for dolphins and cute touristy shopping, this is the place for you! Try Friendly Fishermen's! Make sure to sit outside and get as close to the water as you can! You will see so many dolphins! Oh, and if you LOVE candy, they have a candy shop. Derek can never leave without spending $20...and that's after sampling everything...

P.S the beach is right across the street! So if you are looking to have a beach day, check it out! You won't be disappointed!

Sunken Gardens

Just outside the heart of downtown St. Petersburg lies Sunken Gardens, a subtropical oasis perfect for your family’s next outing. One of Florida’s original roadside attractions, this more than 100-year-old garden is home to some of the oldest and most beautiful tropical plants in the state. Officially opened to the public in 1936, Sunken Gardens offers a lush and secluded haven in the midst of city life. Also the place where Derek and Jordan got engaged! Check it out for yourself and make sure to check Groupon for deals!
