Where is the wedding?

The wedding ceremony and reception will both take place at Rocky Point Ranch. The address is 2220 Conway Drive, Escondido, CA 92026. As parking is very limited at the ranch, though, we'll be doing a shuttle pickup from a more accessible parking area.

What time is the wedding?

Guests are invited to join us for a coffee hour beginning at 10:00 am. The ceremony will begin promptly at 11:00 am, with lunch to follow. After lunch we will open the pool for swimming, and guests are welcome to stay all afternoon.

What's the parking situation?

Unfortunately, there is not space to park at the venue. But there's plenty of street parking nearby, and we'll be running a shuttle service from the surrounding neighborhoods. Look for the sign, and the shuttle will pick you up!

Is the venue accessible?

The ceremony and reception are wheel chair accessible, and an ADA accessible bathroom will be available. If you use a wheel chair or other gear that might not fit in the parking shuttle (AKA minivan), please let us know and we'll coordinate the best way to get you to and from the venue. Please let us know if you need any other accommodations! We want all our guests to be able to attend comfortably.

Are children allowed?

Yes! We enthusiastically welcome kids at the ceremony and reception.

Can I bring a plus one?

If you are an adult guest and your partner wasn't listed on your invitation, then you are welcome to bring them as a plus one.

What's the dress code?

The dress code is beach resort attire. For more details and examples, please see the "Dress Code" section of this site.

What's on the menu?

We are still nailing this down, but it will definitely include both meat and vegetarian options. If you have a dietary restriction, please let us know as soon as possible and we will make sure we have something you can eat!

Will Penny be there?

No, sadly, Sarah and Derek's dog Penny will not be there. She is but a small dog, and large groups of strangers make her too nervous to have fun. She's staying home in Washington with her friend Caroline.
