Things to Do

Explore New Orleans with Us

We are so thrilled that you’re joining us in New Orleans to celebrate our wedding! This city holds a special place in our hearts from its incredible food and music to the energy you feel just walking down the street. Since so many of you are traveling here, we wanted to share a few of our favorite places to eat, sip and explore.

Whether you’re craving fresh seafood, a laid-back brunch, or a lively night out on Bourbon Street, New Orleans has something for everyone. We hope you’ll take some time to enjoy the magic of the city while you’re here—and maybe even fall in love with it the way we have.

Clark-Approved Recommendations

Where to Eat

Morrow’s – A lively spot mixing Creole comfort food with Korean flavors. Great for brunch, dinner or cocktails with a local twist.

Elizabeth’s – A Bywater neighborhood gem for breakfast known for funky Southern dishes (don’t miss the praline bacon!).

Bearcat Café – Perfect for breakfast or brunch, with something for both “good cats” (lighter, healthier plates) and “bad cats” (indulgent classics).

Clover Grill – A Bourbon Street classic since 1939, this quirky 24-hour diner is famous for its juicy burgers cooked under hubcaps and its all-day breakfast menu. It’s the perfect late-night (or early-morning) stop when you’re soaking in the French Quarter energy.

Kilwins – Located in the heart of the French Quarter on Decatur Street, Kilwins offers handcrafted ice cream, chocolates and fudge. It’s the perfect place to cool off after a stroll through the Quarter or treat yourself to something sweet while exploring

Pelican Club – An intimate spot for fine dining with a New Orleans flair—perfect for a special night out.

Where to Play

Tropical Isle – Home of the famous Hand Grenade cocktail. It’s strong, it’s sweet, and it’s a Bourbon Street tradition.

Willie’s Chicken Shack – Crispy fried chicken, daiquiris to-go, and live music make this a fun stop when exploring the French Quarter.

Frenchmen Street – If Bourbon Street is the heart of the party, Frenchmen Street is the soul of New Orleans nightlife. Just a few blocks from the French Quarter, this stretch is lined with jazz clubs, bars, and restaurants where live music spills onto the sidewalks every night. It’s a favorite spot for locals and visitors alike who want to experience authentic New Orleans music and a lively—but slightly less touristy—scene.
