The after party will be focused on celebrating this new chapter of our lives with all of our friends. We will start the evening with a taco bar, followed by a dance party! Formal attire not necessary; festival, disco, and rave attire encouraged. No adults allowed ;)

What time should I arrive?
Doors open at 5:30 pm and food will be available from 6 - 9 pm.
What will the timeline look like?
5:30 PM - Doors open! Run over to the bar first obviously ;)
6:00 PM - Tacos will be available until 9 PM.
7:00 PM - Dance party begins
2:00 AM - FIN

Am I allowed to bring a plus one?
If you are allowed a plus one, it will be indicated when you RSVP on our website.
What is the dress code?
This is a casual event so wear what’s comfortable to you! Weird and colorful rave/festival attire is heavily encouraged and do NOT forget your dancing shoes.
Will the event be outdoors or indoors?
It will be mostly indoors but we will have access to a small outdoor patio.
What will the weather be like?
In early August, San Diego typically enjoys a pleasant heat. We recommend avoiding super thick clothing. The venue will have air conditioning.
How do I get to the wedding venue? Is there parking?
Please use a rideshare service or have a designated driver if you are planning to drink. It is usually pretty difficult to find free parking in Ocean Beach but there is a lot next to the venue where you can purchase parking.
What kind of food and drink will be served during the event? Will you have vegan/gluten-free/etc options?
We will be serving a San Diego classic: tacos! There will be a vegan option and the tortillas are made of corn. Please let us know in the RSVP if you have any dietary restrictions and we will make sure to get you a special meal.
Will there be an open bar?
You better believe it.
Have you booked hotel room block for guests?
We have not booked any hotel room blocks, but please look at the Travel tab on the website for recommendations of where to stay.
Can I take pictures during the event to post on social media? What is your wedding hashtag?
YES! Please take lots of pictures and share them with us! The hashtag is #Balus&ChuSayIDo.
How do I RSVP? When is the deadline?
Please digitally RSVP through the RSVP tab on our website by July 1st.
Will there be a virtual component to the wedding?
No.

Do you have a registry?
No, we are not accepting gifts. Your presence at this celebration already means a lot to us 🙂

We will not be enforcing any specific measures but please reach out to us if you have any concerns. We encourage everyone to let us know if they need special accommodations to make them feel safe and secure at our event.
