What every little sister hates admitting is that their big sister is always right. Well, we owe our meeting to Philly. She convinced Ed (Mike's dad and Philly's boss) to agree to pass along Dessy's number.

In February of 2023, and the coldest day of the year, we had our first date at the MoMA and at least one of us knew right away that our connection was something special.

On our second date, we sang our favorite musical numbers in the streets of Manhattan, and Mike gushed about a book he was currently reading about different species of moss.

By the third date, Dessy knew Mike was the man for her, but it took a little more time for Mike to come around to the idea that he had met the woman he was going to marry.

Fast forward two years and many adventures later, he finally proposed and now we get to party!
