Our Wedding

We&nbsp;met&nbsp;at&nbsp;the&nbsp;blue&nbsp;house&nbsp;in&nbsp;Bremen&nbsp;through&nbsp;mutual&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;Our&nbsp;initial&nbsp;connection&nbsp;was&nbsp;made&nbsp;during&nbsp;a&nbsp;group&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;the&nbsp;movies&nbsp;and&nbsp;our&nbsp;first&nbsp;kiss&nbsp;was&nbsp;in&nbsp;a&nbsp;game&nbsp;of&nbsp;truth&nbsp;or&nbsp;dare&nbsp;(yes&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;that&nbsp;young&nbsp;😂).&nbsp;We&nbsp;shared&nbsp;an&nbsp;amazing&nbsp;few&nbsp;weeks&nbsp;but&nbsp;Rodney&nbsp;was&nbsp;moving&nbsp;for&nbsp;college&nbsp;so&nbsp;we&nbsp;never&nbsp;really&nbsp;made&nbsp;it&nbsp;official&nbsp;although&nbsp;we&nbsp;both&nbsp;felt&nbsp;the&nbsp;spark. &nbsp;Fast&nbsp;forward&nbsp;to&nbsp;2009,&nbsp;we&nbsp;got&nbsp;invited&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;trip&nbsp;to&nbsp;New&nbsp;Orleans&nbsp;with&nbsp;some&nbsp;close&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;We&nbsp;had&nbsp;a&nbsp;great&nbsp;trip&nbsp;and&nbsp;that&nbsp;spark&nbsp;was&nbsp;reignited.&nbsp;We&nbsp;thought&nbsp;this&nbsp;was&nbsp;our&nbsp;shot&nbsp;but&nbsp;life&nbsp;had&nbsp;other&nbsp;plans&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;parted&nbsp;ways&nbsp;again.&nbsp;As&nbsp;we&nbsp;stepped&nbsp;into&nbsp;adulthood,&nbsp;we&nbsp;had&nbsp;kids&nbsp;and&nbsp;built&nbsp;separate&nbsp;lives,&nbsp;both&nbsp;being&nbsp;the&nbsp;other's&nbsp;"one&nbsp;that&nbsp;got&nbsp;away."&nbsp; Fast&nbsp;forward&nbsp;14&nbsp;years&nbsp;and&nbsp;a&nbsp;lot&nbsp;of&nbsp;life&nbsp;changes&nbsp;later,&nbsp;we&nbsp;reconnected&nbsp;as&nbsp;friends.&nbsp;We&nbsp;filled&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;in&nbsp;on&nbsp;life&nbsp;and&nbsp;before&nbsp;we&nbsp;knew&nbsp;it&nbsp;we&nbsp;were&nbsp;talking&nbsp;every&nbsp;day&nbsp; building&nbsp;a&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;we&nbsp;couldn't&nbsp;live&nbsp;without.&nbsp;We've&nbsp;spent&nbsp;the&nbsp;past&nbsp;2&nbsp;years&nbsp;blending&nbsp;our&nbsp;families&nbsp;and&nbsp;building&nbsp;our&nbsp;future,&nbsp;creating&nbsp;a&nbsp;life&nbsp;we&nbsp;love.&nbsp;On&nbsp;November&nbsp;5th&nbsp;2024&nbsp;we&nbsp;made&nbsp;it&nbsp;official&nbsp;with&nbsp;an&nbsp;engagement.&nbsp; Save&nbsp;the&nbsp;Date!&nbsp;Destiny&nbsp;and&nbsp;Rodney&nbsp;are&nbsp;tying&nbsp;the&nbsp;knot,&nbsp;and&nbsp;we&nbsp;want&nbsp;you&nbsp;to&nbsp;be&nbsp;a&nbsp;part&nbsp;of&nbsp;our&nbsp;special&nbsp;day.&nbsp;Please&nbsp;mark&nbsp;your&nbsp;calendars&nbsp;for&nbsp;June&nbsp;14th&nbsp;2025&nbsp;as&nbsp;we&nbsp;celebrate&nbsp;our&nbsp;love&nbsp;and&nbsp;commitment&nbsp;to&nbsp;each&nbsp;other.&nbsp;Formal&nbsp;invitations&nbsp;to&nbsp;follow.&nbsp;We&nbsp;can't&nbsp;wait&nbsp;to&nbsp;share&nbsp;this&nbsp;joyous&nbsp;occasion&nbsp;with&nbsp;you!
