•See the California spring super bloom at North Table Mountain Ecological Reserve. We recommend going off the trails and into the field to avoid crowds or hiking the trail (along the fence) to Phantom Falls. Give cows a wide berth, they will bite. Smaller areas of bloom can be seen at the first turnoff on the right in Upper Bidwell Park.

•Explore Upper and Lower Bidwell park. Miles of hiking/walking/driving and wildflowers

•Tour Sierra Nevada Brewery, or just go for a beer and beer cheese

•Spend an afternoon in downtown Chico. Many fun restaurants/shops

•Visit Chico State University Campus in downtown Chico

•Spend a few hours at Chico Children's Museum

•Drive to Burney Falls (2 hour drive but worth it)
