The wedding venue has a limit on how many campers can celebrate with us. We will be sending wedding invitations to the most special people in our lives. Your wedding invitation will include the total number of people associated with your invitation. If your wedding invitation does not include a "plus one," please do not bring any additional, uninvited guests. Thank you for understanding.
I wasn't invited. Can I crash your wedding?
No. Please do not crash our wedding. While we respect the boldness, we will kindly ask you to leave.
Are pets allowed at the wedding?
Sorry no pets. We love our dogs Oliver and Winston, but even our four-legged friends will not be attending.
Are children invited?
Yes! Children are invited. Keep in mind, this is a wedding and it will be a party. There will be alcohol, dancing, and general adult debauchery. Please plan accordingly.
Do I have to come for the whole weekend?
Attending the full wedding weekend is highly encouraged, but not required. For the full Summer Camp experience, campers should arrive Friday evening and leave Sunday morning. Campers may arrive anytime Friday evening starting at 6:00 p.m. The latest time that campers should arrive is 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. If you plan to enjoy camper cocktails at our canteen, we highly encourage our guests to fully embrace the Summer Camp experience and sleep under the stars with us.
Will you accomodate dietary restrictions?
We will do our best to have food and drink options that will accommodate all dietary needs for our carnivore, herbivore, vegetarian, vegan, dairy-free, and gluten-free friends. We plan to provide meals and snacks throughout the event including Friday Dinner, Saturday Brunch, Saturday Charcuterie, Saturday Dinner, and Sunday Continental Breakfast. There will also be campfire snacks on Friday and Saturday nights, and a selection of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages will be available for campers throughout the weekend. If you have unique dietary needs, or need extra snacks or food in between camp meals, consider packing snacks or bringing a cooler. For people with special drink preferences you are welcome to BYOB. Campers are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle for the weekend.
What should I pack?
If you plan to sleep in one of the bunk beds, please bring your own bedding and a towel. You may also pay $15 dollars per camper to rent linens, which includes sheets, blanket, a pillow, and a towel. If you are planning to camp, bring your tent, camper, hammock, camper van, or RV, and any supplies you may need to stay comfortable. Don't forget your flashlight, sunscreen, and bug spray! Campers should also pack a variety of clothing for hiking in the woods, swimming in the river nearby, and playing volleyball with wedding guests. Don't forget a warm jacket or sweater for the evening! Warm clothes are also recommended for campers sleeping under the stars.
What should I wear?
The comfort of our guests is most important. Keep in mind this is a rustic wedding venue in the woods and we are fully embracing the summer camp wedding theme. Most of the venue is surrounded by large trees and many of the event spaces are connected by dirt walking paths. We recommend that people avoid wearing high heels or long dresses that drag on the ground. Wedges, sandals, and flats are totally okay for our wedding.
For Friday night, campers are encouraged to dress causal in your summer BBQ best, like you are enjoying a fancy summer picnic or fun summer evening out with friends. The venue is shaded, but it may be warm outside with sunshine until 9pm! Bring a light jacket or sweater for when the sun goes down. For the Saturday main wedding ceremony and reception, we ask that wedding guests dress summer semi-formal. Dress to impress, but we are not expecting campers to wear formal dresses, jackets, long-sleeves, or suits. The best thing you can wear is a smile.
Where are the closest stores and towns?
Our Summer Camp wedding is not close to civilization or convenience stores. We will be on the edge of the wilderness where we like to be. The nearest stores are up to 30 minutes away in Woodland, Cougar, Chelatchie, or Amboy, Washington. Please plan ahead and bring what you need on Friday, or use your free-time on Saturday to head into town.
