Sleeping Accommodations: Our wedding venue has 67 beds, space for unlimited tents and campers, and 7 electrical hookups for RVs. These accommodations are available for no cost to our guests! We encourage you to consider camping with us for our special weekend. If you need linens such as sheets, blankets, pillows, or towels, there is a small rental fee of $15 dollars per camper for the weekend. The RSVP includes a survey regarding accommodation preferences. With limited beds, priority will be given to out-of-town guests and family.
Showers and Toilets: There is a bathhouse on site with 8 private showers, toilets, and 2 saunas. In total, there are an estimated 10 toilets, 12 showers, and running water onsite.
Electricity and Wi-Fi: The venue has electricity to keep you plugged in. There is also wi-fi. Phone reception is limited.
Airbnb or VRBO: There are multiple vacation rentals located near our venue. You may consider a rental in Woodland, Ariel, Yale, Chelatchie, Cougar, or Amboy, Washington.
Hotels: If camping is not your favorite adventure, the closest hotels are approximately 30 minutes away in the City of Woodland, Washington. There are also hotels in the Cities of Kalama or Battle Ground.
Other Campsites and RV Parks: If you are planning to camp, we highly recommend that you camp with us at Anderson Lodge. However, if you choose to camp elsewhere - no worries! There are additional campsites and RV Parks nearby. We recommend booking early. More information is coming soon!
Guests travelling to Washington from out-of-state should fly into Portland International Airport (PDX). The wedding venue is located 50 miles from the Portland Airport, which is an easy 1-hour drive. We recommend that guests rent a car to travel to the venue. Renting a car is also recommend if guests want to explore the beautiful scenery around the wedding venue. Guests may consider coordinating with others to carpool. The RSVP includes a survey question to determine if guests are interested in a wedding shuttle.
Guests travelling to Washington may also consider flying into Seattle-Tacoma International Airport (SEA). The wedding venue is located 160 miles from the Seattle Airport, which is a 2.5-hour drive.
Guests may also consider Amtrak for travel. The closest train stations to the venue are Portland Union Station or the Amtrak Stations in Vancouver or Longview, Washington.
Guests may arrange rental cars through expedia.com, booking.com, rentalcars.com, kayak.com, or priceline.com. You may also rent directly from the company's website. For guests arriving to the Portland Airport, the most convenient rental car pickup location is at Portland International Airport. Rental cars may also be picked up at various locations in Vancouver, Washington.
Guests may choose to drive to Washington. If you are travelling from Michigan, plan for at least 5 to 7 days of driving. If you are up for the journey, drive through South Dakota to stop in Badlands National Park. Consider stopping at Mount Rushmore, Deadwood, and Sturgis. From South Dakota, head to Montana. You may consider a detour to stop at Yellowstone, Grand Teton, or Glacier National Parks. From Montana, head to Idaho stopping in Coeur d'Alene. Drive into Washington through the scenic Columbia River Gorge.
