Once upon a time in a not-so-faraway land called Orange County, New York, two unsuspecting twenty-somethings signed up for an online dating service. After carefully crafting dating profiles that both described their interests and hobbies, as well as showed off only the most flattering of photos...or at least photos that were semi-recent, the algorithm saw fit to put these two lovebirds in each other's paths. Luckily, Peter either wasn't too bothered by how obviously weird Devin is, or he didn't pay too close attention to the photo of her being&nbsp;attacked by dinosaur pajama set, because he sent her a message. After sharing about their love for dogs and fantasy novels and their hatred of olives, it was time to put this budding romance to the ultimate test: a daytime meeting in a very public place to share a coffee after informing several close friends about the time and location and promising to reach out by a predetermined time. It was when Devin was an incredibly gracious loser during a bowling date some weeks later that Peter knew that this relationship could last. Over the past 8 years, they have helped each other grow, pushed each other out of their respective comfort zones and have gone on countless adventures together. Peter has found his way onto the stage in several theater productions including "Veronica's Room" and "Seussical the Musical". Devin has hiked to the top of several mountains, has learned an incredible amount of history and even attempted Disc Golf--a sport she was never designed to excel at. In 2020 they made the fortuitous choice to move in together. They signed a lease in February with a move-in date of April 3rd. And if anything was going to test this relationship at this point, being quarantined together during a global pandemic was definitely going to be the thing to do it. But, because theirs is a story of true love, they eventually adopted a dog and found a way to balance Peter's office job and Devin's music teaching both happening in their 2 bedroom apartment without too many tears. In 2023, on the eve of her last day of school, Peter suggested a dinner out on the Newburgh waterfront. At the gazebo in a park near the river in Cornwall where they shared many weekends together during the early stages of their relationship, Peter asked Devin to spend the rest of their lives together and she enthusiastically said yes. They are so looking forward to sharing their wedding day with their friends and family!

This hotel is where our room block is set up. We have also arranged for a shuttle to and from the venue for guests who choose to stay here. Shuttle times to the ceremony begin at 3:45pm and will return to the hotel after the reception beginning at 9:30pm. The room block is from Thursday to Saturday, and there is no minimum night stay requirement. In order to get the discounted rate you must book your room by 6/18/24
