If you are traveling from afar and looking to make a fun trip out of your stay, there are plenty of things to do around the Boerne area!

Boerne is an old Texas town with so much history and a truly charming small town vibe. Main street is a great place to go shopping; from gift shops, antique stores and clothing stores to fit all your shopping needs!

If you have kids; take them down to walk along Cibolo creek river. The conservation center is also nearby which offers beautiful trails, nature and animals.

Boerne is only about a 20 minute drive to the wine country of Fredericksburg! Fredericksburg is an old German town nestled in the heart of the hill country with wineries, cute cafes and restaurants to hop around.

About 40 minutes south of Boerne is the city of San Antonio. San Antonio has so much culture to offer from The Alamo, the famous River Walk and the Pearl center where there are shops, restaurants and breweries!

If you're looking to check off a few more stops on your trip and have the time, Austin is only a 1.5 hour drive through the hill country. Austin is such a fun city; it's small but has a little something for everyone from shopping and eats on South Congress, to food trucks on the East Side, trails all around Lady Bird Lake and of course; the famous bar scenes of West 6th and Dirty 6th street!
